Hello my name is Jeni Sandford-Wilson and I am the Owner of Box Logistics Ltd.

Transport has always been in our families blood, from the early 1960’s our family has been market leaders in dry cargo shipping , freight forwarding and myself in road freight. I’m proud to say we have a highly experienced and dedicated team here at Box, operating a multi-national palletised network, delivering freight overnight through our central hub. Being proud members of a European Market leading Network allows us to offer our customers the most comprehensive global logistics solutions, all with the customer care and personal approach that comes from a local country business. Steve Gaines
Managing Director

Hello, my name is Steve Gaines, I am the Managing Director at Box Logistics .Although my looks may deceive I have been in logistics for over 30 years, On leaving school I started my working life in HGV mechanics with Rawson’s, once I could obtain my 7.5 licence my driving career took off working my way through the ranks up to international TIR class1 driver throughout Europe. I then moved on with a colleague to help build Kelly International, based in Kent we took the company from 2 trucks to 30 trucks. As a company this is where I first joined Pallex and Networking. In 2014 I joined Pallex UK as a UK Regional Manager before finally achieving the position of Head of Network. Haulage is in my blood and the opportunity to join Box as Managing Director was one I could not turn down. Having worked in the industry from all angles, I knew that General haulage and Networking at the operational end of the market is where my heart lies, working with customers as a logistic partner allows me to form relationships, create solutions and provide a service that benefits from my experience and love of the transport industry.

Key Accounts Manager

Hello, my name is Summer, I am the Key accounts Manager at Box Logistics. I deal with all our direct customers and contracts, providing daily support, quotations and overseeing the Network operation for our own customer base. I help aid the smooth running of our services from collection through to the final delivery.

 

After a successful period in the retail sector I joined Box Logistics in January 2021, I initially took on the customer service administration role supporting the Business development Manager, I then moved across to daily operations assisting in the day to day running of all our logistic arms of the business that gave me a much greater understanding of the mechanics within the business and how the chain works from collection of import containers to final mile delivery. I was promoted to my current role in December 2022 and now responsible for and oversee all own customer operations. I enjoy the challenges that the transport industry creates and of course the diverse mix of people I meet along the way.

Ellise Hendy
Business Development Manager

Hello, my name is Ellise and I am the Business Development Manager at Box Logistics. I am responsible for bringing on new clients and researching new business opportunities. I spend a lot of my time on the road introducing myself to potential clients and sourcing new opportunities for Box, I also ensure I take the time to visit all our existing clients and maintaining strong relationships with them. I work closely with our Key Accounts Manager Summer assisting with the day-to-day tasks of looking after our customers and their deliveries, as well as managing the Box social media pages.

 

I joined Box Logistics in April 2024 after moving back to the UK from Australia where I was involved in the logistic arm of a large mining corporation. I thoroughly enjoy my time at Box and I love that no two days are the same. The variety of people I meet on a daily basis and the conversations I have with them is one of the many reasons I love my job. I have learnt a lot about myself in this role and it has massively boosted my confidence and knowledge. I look forward to continuing to learn about the transport industry, succeeding in my role, and of course introducing many new customers to the exemplary logistic services Box supply.

Operations Assistant

Hello, my name is Amelia and I am the Operations Assistant at Box Logistics. I support our Operations Manager dealing with anything from answering daily calls, driver and customer queries, to booking in deliveries and ensuring all communication channels are utilised and updated, enhancing the Box Logistics customer experience.

 

After working in the retail industry, I made the move to support our family business. Having watched my parents build Box Logistics from the ground up, I have always been inspired by their hard work and determination, which shows through the success of the business. I am proud and excited to become a part of the Box Logistics history and support my family in continuing to grow the business.

Operations Manager

My name is Lissa and I am the Operations Manager at Box Logistics. I have over 30 years’ experience in the UK and European Freight and Logistics sector with a proven track record of operational excellence. I am equipped with a diverse skill set, excelling in delivering quality customer service.  I started my career in this sector booking deep shipments in the middle of the night whilst training to be a nurse. After I finished my nursing training, I worked for year as a Staff Nurse in the NHS and I decided to make a change back to transportation, so went to work for South London Storage in Wetherby doing Freight Forwarding and full loads to and from Europe.

Hello my name is Olivia Sandford-Wilson I work Part-time as an Administrator dealing with network discrepancies and customer ADR’s on a daily basis. I am currently studying Fashion Journalism at London Met on a 3-year degree, however having been brought up with both parents working at Box logistics has given me a good understanding of how the family business runs, and also how our Business is a morning business! Being based close to London allows me the time to carry out my roll before University.
